We are seeking a dedicated, accountable, and detail‑oriented Quote Analyst with strong exposure to mechanical and electronic components to join our Southeast Asia team.

The Quote Analyst will be responsible for end‑to‑end RFQ execution, supplier communication, quotation analysis, and cost comparison across Asia, while supporting U.S. counterparts in sourcing and cost evaluation activities.

This role focuses on data accuracy, cost transparency, and timely RFQ completion, enabling sourcing and procurement teams to make informed supplier decisions.

Key Responsibilities

RFQ & Quotation Management
  • Manage RFQs with suppliers across Asia and ensure timely quotation responses aligned with project deadlines.
  • Prepare, issue, and track RFQs based on engineering drawings, technical specifications, and BOMs.
  • Maintain structured communication with suppliers to clarify scope, terms, and quotation details.
Quotation & Cost Analysis
  • Consolidate and analyze supplier quotations to ensure alignment with target cost provided by the U.S. team.
  • Prepare detailed cost comparison sheets covering pricing, tooling, MOQ, lead time, and commercial terms.
  • Identify cost gaps, variances, and risks, and highlight key findings for sourcing and procurement teams.
Supplier Coordination & Support
  • Support sourcing engineers and procurement teams during supplier evaluations and negotiation preparation.
  • Assist with alternate sourcing and dual‑vendor qualification by managing RFQs and comparison data.
  • Monitor supplier responsiveness and support supplier performance tracking.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure RFQ clarity and completeness.
  • Support sourcing strategies and cost‑reduction initiatives through data and quotation analysis.
Reporting & Documentation
  • Maintain accurate RFQ records, quotation files, and supplier documentation.
  • Prepare weekly RFQ status updates and cost analysis reports.
  • Ensure compliance with internal sourcing and procurement processes.
Operational Excellence
  • Respond promptly to supply risks such as lead‑time changes, capacity constraints, and quotation delays.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple RFQs and priorities.
Job Requirements Education & Experience
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Supply Chain, or related fields.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in RFQ management, quotation analysis, sourcing support, or procurement roles.
  • Experience working in a multinational or regional sourcing environment is preferred.
Technical Skills & Knowledge
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, or electro‑mechanical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (cost analysis, comparison tables, data consolidation).
  • High attention to detail with strong documentation discipline.
Additional Requirements
  • Must be able to speak and write Chinese and English to effectively communicate with Chinese and English‑speaking suppliers.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work with cross‑functional global teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced global supply chain environment.
  • Results‑driven, responsive, and disciplined in follow‑ups.
  • Willing to travel to supplier sites as required (domestic and international).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Asian supplier markets and U.S. import/export cost structures.
  • Experience supporting sourcing or procurement teams in cost analysis and RFQ activities.
  • Exposure to overseas supplier coordination and global sourcing processes.
  • Culturally adaptive and comfortable working across regions and time zones.
  • Immediate availability is an added advantage.
