About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Security Compliance Analyst to support the development and standardization of information security compliance reporting practices across Gen Digital.

This role engages in aligning Global Technology Solutions (GTS) with Gen's strategic objectives through governance, compliance oversight, and exceptional project execution to complete multiple compliance audits. The position focuses on supporting Compliance initiatives by assisting in planning, maintaining, executing, and managing compliance efforts.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone in their security, compliance or IT risk career who wants to gain experience in IT governance, compliance, risk management, and cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development, documentation, and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide compliance initiatives.
  • Maintain and improve enterprise level compliance controls aligned with various industry-standards and security and compliance frameworks.
  • Work closely with professional services firms to support projects with minimal business impact.
  • Identify potential process gaps, inconsistencies, or control weaknesses and collaborate with senior team members and multiple business units for remediation.
  • Complete governance, risk, and compliance operational tasks, ensuring proper tracking, reporting, and process alignment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as IT, Engineering, HR, Development, Product and Compliance teams to improve efficiencies in Governance, Risk, and Compliance functions.
About You:
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT, IT Security, IT Audit/Risk, Governance, or a related field.
  • Understanding of PCI-DSS, ISO27001:2013, SOC2, and other industry leading security/compliance frameworks.
  • Strong attention to detail and structured documentation skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills for IT security risk analysis.
  • Knowledge of industry standard auditing practices and standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively across teams.
