Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Accounting
· Prepare full set of accounts including monthly, quarterly, yearly financial reports
· Ensure accuracy of general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations
· Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
· Maintain and update the fixed assets register including depreciation schedules and reconciliation
· Review and verify staff expense claims to ensure compliance with company policies and approved limits
· Coordinate and liaise with external auditors on annual statutory audits
Tax Compliance
· Ensure compliance with Malaysia tax regulation e.g corporate tax returns, indirect taxes, transfer pricing documentation and e-invoicing
· Coordinate with tax authorities and tax consultants
Cash Flow & Treasury
· Monitor cash flow position and funding requirements
· Oversee bank reconciliations and payments
· Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions
Budgeting & Forecasting
· Assist in preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasts
· Track actual vs. budget performance and analyze variances
· Provide insights to management for cost control and planning
Adhoc Project
· Support and actively participate in ERP system implementation, including system setup, data migration, testing, and user training
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth ERP integration and alignment with business processes
· Assist in the development, documentation, and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for accounting and finance functions
· Continuously review and improve SOPs to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls
Qualifications & Requirement
· Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields
· Minimum 3 years of relevant experiences in accounting preferably manufacturing companies
· Strong Organization, communication and time management skills
· Knowledge in ERP system is an added advantage
· High attention to detail and confidentiality
· Able to meet tight deadlines, manage multiple priorities, maintain high standards of accuracy
· Proficient in spoken and written English
