1. Job Summary

TRC BUILDER SDN BHD is a leading interior fit - out and renovation company in Malaysia. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Site Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing various interior fit - out projects, including those in street - side shops and mall - based stores across the country.

2. Key Responsibilities

  • Project Coordination
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate all aspects of interior fit - out projects for both street - side and mall - based retail spaces. This includes liaising with clients, architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Monitor and control project progress, identify potential issues or delays, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Site Management
  • Oversee day - to - day operations at project sites, ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Manage and supervise on - site teams, including contractors and subcontractors, to ensure efficient and effective work performance.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to assess the quality of work, resolve any technical or logistical problems, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Documentation and Reporting
  • Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and quality control records.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, highlighting any significant issues or achievements.
  • Client Liaison
  • Act as the main point of contact between the company and clients during the project implementation phase.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements, address their concerns, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project.

3. Requirements

  • Qualifications
  • A diploma or degree in construction management, interior design, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in site coordination or project management within the interior fit - out or construction industry.
  • Skills
  • Strong organizational and time - management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Good problem - solving and decision - making skills, with the ability to respond quickly to changing project requirements.
  • Proficient in using project management software and tools.
  • Strong technical knowledge with hands-on experience in site coordination and renovation work.

  • Physical and Work Requirements
  • Willingness to travel across Malaysia for outstation projects as required. The nature of our projects means that travel to different locations within the country is a regular part of the job.
  • Ability to work on - site, including in dusty and noisy environments, and to climb ladders and stairs as necessary.

4. Additional Advantage

  • Proficiency in CAD (Computer - Aided Design) software is highly desirable. This skill will be an added advantage as it can be used for creating and understanding design drawings, facilitating communication with design teams, and ensuring accurate implementation of design concepts on - site.
