Responsibilities

  1. Material Requisition & Receiving – Review requisitions based on production orders and BOM quotas to prevent over-requisition. Collect raw materials (e.g., LiPF6, solvents) from main warehouse, verify item name, batch, weight, and packaging. Inspect chemical labels and MSDS; ensure transport containers meet safety standards.
  2. Material Issuance & Distribution – Follow FIFO to deliver exact quantities to reactors or filling lines. Use “issuer + verifier” double check for high-value lithium salts and additives. Recover unused materials after production; process returns or sealed storage – no private retention.
  3. On-site Storage & Custody – Manage line-side temporary storage. Keep flammable solvents and moisture-sensitive lithium salts separated under proper temperature, humidity, and nitrogen protection. Update material cards in real-time (name, batch, quantity, status). Daily inspect spill pallets, static grounding, and fire equipment; report hazards.
  4. Accounting & Data Management – Maintain manual/electronic ledgers; record every transaction immediately. Verify physical inventory against ledger daily; submit daily reports (input, output, loss rate) to Workshop Director and Finance. Post transactions in ERP/MES to synchronize stock.
  5. Inventory Count & Loss Control – Conduct daily spot checks, weekly full counts, monthly full counts with Finance; issue variance reports. Monitor abnormal losses (e.g., residue, evaporation, scrap); assist Process Department in root cause analysis and improvement. Identify obsolete or near-expiry materials and initiate processing.
  6. Others – Any other duties assigned by superior.

Requirements

1.Education: High school or above. Chemical engineering or safety-related majors preferred. 2.Experience: 2–5 years in wastewater treatment, environmental engineering, or EHS. Hands-on experience with treatment equipment (neutralization, biological, filtration, chemical dosing, scrubbers, carbon systems) preferred. Knowledge of ISO 14001 and audit experience is a plus.

3.Skills: Good understanding of treatment technologies. Knowledge of environmental regulations (especially Malaysian). Ability to analyze system data. Good communication and coordination skills.

4.Others: Certified Environmental Professional (CePIETSO & CePSO) preferred.
