Job Summary

Amazon is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our Warehouse Employee Relations team. This role is integral in fostering a positive work environment, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting employee engagement initiatives within our dynamic warehouse operations. The HR Assistant will work closely with HR managers and warehouse leadership to manage employee relations issues, provide guidance on HR policies, and support operational HR processes to ensure a productive and respectful workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Employee Relations team in managing employee inquiries, grievances, and workplace concerns.

  • Assist in investigating employee complaints and documenting findings in accordance with Amazon policies and labor regulations.

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation related to employee relations activities.

  • Support HR managers with performance management processes, including coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions.

  • Collaborate with warehouse leadership to identify trends and recommend proactive solutions to improve employee engagement and productivity.

  • Assist in preparing HR reports, metrics, and analysis to inform management decisions.

  • Facilitate communication of HR policies, programs, and initiatives to warehouse employees.

  • Support compliance with local labor laws, Amazon HR policies, and company-wide initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of HR policies, employment law, and employee relations best practices.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR information systems.

Experience

  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in HR or Employee Relations, preferably in a warehouse, logistics, or operations environment.

  • Experience handling employee relations issues, investigations, or performance management is highly desirable.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position with flexibility to support warehouse operational schedules.

  • May require occasional evening or weekend work depending on business needs.
