Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Remote 3D Apparel Designer with expertise in CLO 3D and Browzwear for virtual fitting. This role involves transforming design concepts into fully realized digital garments, optimizing virtual prototyping processes, and collaborating closely with design and technical teams to bring collections to life. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of 3D apparel simulation, fabric behavior, and virtual fit standards to enhance product development efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality 3D garments using CLO 3D and Browzwear based on provided technical packs, sketches, and design specifications.

  • Conduct virtual fittings to ensure proper garment fit, fabric drape, and movement across all sizes.

  • Collaborate with designers, technical designers, and product developers to refine designs and resolve fit or construction issues virtually.

  • Develop digital prototypes to reduce physical sampling, saving time and production costs.

  • Maintain an organized library of 3D assets, fabrics, trims, and textures for seamless project execution.

  • Stay updated with industry trends, 3D software updates, and virtual fashion innovations to ensure the company remains at the forefront of digital apparel design.

  • Generate high-resolution renderings, animations, and presentations for internal and client reviews.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficiency in CLO 3D and Browzwear VStitcher, with a strong portfolio showcasing 3D garment development.

  • Ability to interpret 2D tech packs and translate them into accurate 3D simulations.

  • Knowledge of digital fabric libraries, texture mapping, and material simulation.

Experience
