Job Summary

Progressive Technology is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Electric Pallet Jack Order Selector to join our fast-paced warehouse operations team. This role is critical to ensuring accurate, efficient, and timely order fulfillment using electric pallet jacks and voice-picking technology. The ideal candidate will thrive in a high-volume distribution environment, demonstrate a strong work ethic, and maintain a commitment to safety, accuracy, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately select, pick, and stage customer orders using voice-directed picking systems

  • Operate electric pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently

  • Meet or exceed daily productivity, quality, and accuracy standards

  • Verify product quantities, codes, and conditions to ensure order accuracy

  • Stack, wrap, label, and prepare pallets for shipment according to company standards

  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and warehouse best practices

  • Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance or safety issues promptly

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to support operational goals

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to operate or willingness to learn electric pallet jack equipment

  • Familiarity with voice-picking systems or warehouse technology (preferred)

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment

  • Good verbal communication skills for voice-directed systems

  • Basic math skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions

  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards

Experience

  • Prior warehouse, distribution, or order selection experience preferred

  • Experience with electric pallet jacks or similar equipment is an advantage

  • Voice-picking or RF scanning experience is a plus, but training will be provided

Working Hours

  • Full-time and/or shift-based schedules available

  • Flexible shifts, including day, evening, night, weekend, and overtime as required

  • Must be willing to work extended hours during peak business periods
