Role Overview

  • Position: Consultant / Specialist Vascular Surgeon
  • Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
  • Hospital Type: Private / Government / Multispecialty / Tertiary Care (JCI-accredited)
  • Experience Required: Minimum 3+ years post specialist or board certification
  • Clinical Scope: Open and endovascular procedures with access to hybrid operating theatres
The successful candidate will work within a collaborative surgical environment supported by advanced imaging, interventional radiology, and critical care services.

Qualifications & Board Recognition

Key Responsibilities – Vascular Surgery

  • Perform a full spectrum of vascular surgical procedures, including both open and endovascular interventions.
  • Diagnose and manage arterial, venous, and lymphatic disorders, including peripheral arterial disease, aneurysms, carotid artery disease, and varicose veins.
  • Conduct preoperative assessments, surgical planning, and postoperative management to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Perform minimally invasive endovascular procedures, including angioplasty, stenting, and thrombolysis.
  • Manage vascular emergencies, including acute limb ischemia, ruptured aneurysms, and vascular trauma.
  • Collaborate with interventional radiologists, cardiologists, and multidisciplinary teams for integrated vascular care.
  • Participate in clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement initiatives to maintain high standards of patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant electronic medical records and clinical documentation.
  • Contribute to the development of vascular surgery services and advanced treatment programs within the hospital.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, ethical standards, and hospital clinical protocols.
