Job Title: Fitness Coach (Independent Contractor – Remote)
Company: Moai LLC
Location: Fully Remote
Compensation: Revenue share (per Moai coached)

About Moai

Moai is a social fitness platform built on a simple truth: people are more consistent when they move together. We bring small groups of people (“Moais”) together around shared fitness goals and pair them with a coach for structure, accountability, and real guidance. We're all about consistency, community, and progress.

The Role

We’re looking for certified female fitness coaches to lead small groups and individuals through the Moai platform - fully remote. You’ll help members stay consistent, adjust programming when needed, and provide accountability that actually sticks.

This is an independent contractor role built for coaches who want flexibility, leverage, and meaningful impact without being glued to Zoom all day.

What You’ll Do

  • Coach small groups (5–8 members) remotely through the Moai app
  • Review member goals, movement history, and weekly commitments
  • Provide clear programming guidance and make adjustments as needed
  • Check in with members weekly to reinforce consistency and momentum
  • Answer questions, give feedback, and support members inside group chats
  • Review and update programming on a regular cadence (monthly or as needed)
  • Flag injury risks, disengagement, or blockers early and communicate clearly
  • Maintain a high bar for professionalism, inclusivity, and support

What We’re Looking For

  • Certified fitness professional (NASM, ACE, CSCS, or equivalent)
  • Experience coaching individuals or small groups (in-person or remote)
  • Strong written communication skills—you’ll coach primarily via chat and video.
  • Comfortable working inside an app-based platform
  • Reliable, organized, and proactive
  • Aligned with Moai’s philosophy: consistency > intensity, community > ego
  • Experience with strength training, running, or hybrid programming
  • Prior remote or online coaching experience
  • Background in behavior change, accountability, or habit formation
  • Interest in helping shape a growing fitness platform

Compensation & Structure

  • Independent contractor (1099)
  • Revenue share per client coached
  • Flexible workload—take on more Moais as capacity allows
  • No selling, no lead chasing—Moai handles member acquisition and payments

Why Coach with Moai

  • Coach motivated members in small groups, scaling your time.
  • Fully remote, async-first coaching model
  • Focus on impact and relationships, not volume
  • Be part of a platform redefining how fitness and community work together

Pay: Up to $2,500.00 per month

Benefits:

  • Flexible schedule
  • Opportunities for advancement
  • Referral program
